In the trailer for a startup company called Friend, it is stated that the minimalist-designed wearable device powered by AI is a new kind of companion that will always spy on its owner. However, this is not a surveillance system with a camera, as the device does not have any cameras. Instead, it can hear what users are saying and react accordingly.

When the device is connected to Bluetooth, it will be able to provide helpful comments or advice with its continuous listening feature. The device can only share its insights or responses through the smartphone app and notifications. This wearable will be available from January 2025, with a price tag of $99.
